2010 - Present

John Kowalski was elected as trustee of Emmett Township in 2010.

He graduated from Richmond High School in 1983, attained an Associates Degree from the Community College of the U.S. Air Force where he served 4 years, a Bachelors Degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Masters Degree from Baker College.

John works in the Information Technology (IT) field for Hewlett Packard and teaches night courses at St. Clair Community College. He also is a life member of the NRA and enjoys farming, hunting and fishing.

John is has been married to Leslie Kowalski for 25 years. They have two children and are active members of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.
